GATE Update

Welcome back to a new school year!  We hope everyone has had a chance to settle in to a comfortable school routine.  This year our district will not be offering GATE services due to the cuts from the state.  We will do our best here at Rio Norte to keep you informed and up to date with as much GATE information that we can share.    We may still be able to offer our SAT Prep classes this Fall.  Keep checking back for more information.

In the meantime, our district is offering a talent search meeting at Placerita JHS on Wed. Sept. 23rd (see the previous post on this blog).  John Hopkin University Talent Search packets went home with all GATE students through their math teachers this past week.  As soon as we receive the brochures from UC Irvine we will be sending those home as well.

Have a wonderful school year and don’t forget to check our the district GATE blog at www.wmshartgate.edublogs.org or clink on the link on this site.
